Kindred Occupational Therapy - Individual

Mainly working with Children aged between 1-12, Kindred's Occupational Therapy is rooted in neurodiversity-affirming practice, celebrating each person's unique way of being without seeking to change them to fit neurotypical expectations.

Eddy works collaboratively, centering connection and moving at the pace of trust to nurture growth in emotional regulation, sensory processing, social participation, motor skills, self-care, learning, self-esteem, and identity.

Grounded in the power of play and curiosity, sessions are designed to follow the person's lead while gently supporting meaningful participation in the activities that matter most to them. Therapy is offered flexibly - at home, school, kindergarten, the Warburton Wellspring or via Telehealth -ensuring support is accessible and embedded in the environments that feel safe and familiar.

Kindred Transform

Kindred Transform is all about re-jigging the aspects, spaces and areas of ones life that are getting in the way and are feeling a bit unloved. Through activating Kindred Transform, Eddy will help individuals over several weeks map out their goals, re-align to their values, de-clutter the home, decorate your beloved spaces so they reflect your magical personality, assist with getting into supportive routines, teach you how to provide yourself with yummy meals, and so on.

Kindred Spaces

Kindred Spaces is all about creating sensory friendly environments that welcomes and cater to individuals of all sensory needs, in the places they should be, but aren’t! With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of sensory processing, Eddy will help transform traditional event setups into inclusive and accommodating spaces where everyone can feel comfortable and engaged. Want to attend the local folk festival in your community, but wish there was a space to retreat to in order to regulate? Kindred Spaces has your back, and nervous system!

Kindred Kin

Kindred Kin is all about weekly special interest groups. Eddy has currently finished an 8 week Pokemon Group for 7-10 year olds called Poke-Kin, which was held at the Warburton Wellspring. Stay tuned for more special interest groups. Participants can use NDIS funds. Groups are generally limited to 4 kids aged between 6-12.

Groups in the works:

  • September: The Wildlings - A sensory exploration based workshop (mainly deep pressure given via swaddling) with consent, body boundary and self awareness practise elements woven in, over 6 weeks.

  • Pokekin Pokemon Group - Available upon interest and requests for 2025!

  • Happiness Funshops - A happiness, clowning, emotion education based idea in the works for sometime in 2025!
